I am really sorry about your sadness around your birthday. I always remembered my daughter's birthday and it has always been a really sad day. I think one of the worst years was when my husband made a cake and it's so sad eating birthday cake and not knowing your child. I do always try to go out for the day and try to have a good time because if I sit home I will cry all day.
ReplyDeleteI find my daughter's birthday easier now that in reunion that I can send her gifts for birthdays and other holidays. It's never always the best day because I am still the Other Mother but I will take what I can get. I hope birthdays get more enjoyable to you too.
