Nicknames

So it took me a while to come up with new Nicknames for the people I blog about. I'm not super creative when it comes to this stuff. Anyway, seeing as the title of my blog is Insert Bad Movie Title Here, I figured I'd use movie titles! Not super original, but it goes with the theme. Only problem is that I don't watch enough movies to know which movies to use. And good vs. bad movies aren't something I wanted to get into. So I just Googled Movie titles and picked from a list. These aren't "bad" movies in my mind (haven't even seen some of them) but just movies that I felt would make good names.

I kept the same initial going. I wanted to try to make it less confusing. I know it's a pain so I'm sorry and I'll do anything I can to make it less confusing. I rearranged my blog to include a section for the "Players" so that you can always reference who I'm talking about. Maybe add a mini-bio for each in relation to me. I've seen others do this with family blogs. I don't know…

For now, here's the list:

NeverTooLate : my first mother. I liked this because there's hope in the movie title. I've never seen the movie. Maybe it should be on my list.

SinginInTheRain : my first father. I love this movie. It's one of my favorites. So I felt like using it.

KungFuPanda : my older kept sister. I wanted a kids movie because she's still a minor (even if she's a teenager). Haven't seen this movie either, though I've heard not to see the second one because it's a bit triggering for adoptees.

Sandlot : my younger kept sister. One of my favorite childhood movies. I used to watch it all the time with my cousins!

I'm still trying to come up with a nickname for my boyfriend, but he'll get a nickname that's a movie title too. It's kind of fun coming up with nicknames!
